We, as the Committee, feel it is our responsibility to assist the Airport Board as well as the people of Bay St. George and Southwestern Newfoundland, maintain a viable and self-sufficient airport which can handle the travel needs of our communities.
With a new business plan in hand and a positive approach by all, we will succeed in achieving our goals. We want people to be aware of what is happening and to know this Committee is working for the region. A viable airport will enhance the area’s tourism potential, encourage new business investors and help us attract and maintain professionals for the entire west coast.
We intend to move forward. With the support of all the communities in this region, we will be able to say, “We are flying out of the Stephenville International Airport.”
